This is a short vlog to discuss the upcoming Vlogging & Blogging Conference on February 3rd at Gallaudet. It is an honor to be invited and talk about ASL Vlog and the Future of Gallaudet. In this clip, you will see what I plan to discuss at the conference.
Very nice! I do look forward to blogging and vlogging future Gallaudet!
ReplyGood Luck! 😉

ReplyRoger that!
JON
ReplyYes, yes – it is very exciting!!
You and others did so much to bring a lot of deaf communities together, especially the last year.
I so look forward to the webcast and watching all of you all in ONE vlog!!
What a great deal that is for all of us – from city to city, state to state, country to country!!
Oops, not to jinx you or anything! 😉
See you all on the internet next Saturday!
MikeS – I expect you to bring popcorn for everyone online! 🙂
Congratulations on being part of this history!!!
ReplyCongratulations!
Few comments:
1. Deaf community – are we talking about Deaf Community all over the world or are we talking about the one in US?
2. Vlog is great when we know the language. How do we get other Deaf people get included? Maybe we should think about how we can build a bigger Deaf Community. Maybe it is time for Esperanto or something to be used in Vlogs?
Thanks

Excite! Yeah! Look forward to it.
ReplyCongratulations! Have a great time at the conference!
ReplyYes, I will deafinitely take some video of the event and interview the panelists with their thoughts. When I return, will do a vlog to share our experience!
Response to #7: I mean Deaf community in our country (USA) but it can still apply to any Deaf community in the world.
ReplyHey Everyone…
Vloggers/Bloggers are not just for Gallaudet’s future only! It’s presently in our LIFE and our future too. I plan to start my vlog soon!
Looking forward to see you much more on vlogging.
ReplySorry IAmMine, too many varieties of popcorn. Salted, unsalted, buttered, etc. This is a BYOP (Bring your own popcorn) event. 😉
ReplyYes! Excellent! I could not wait to watch it through the web conference. But I am wondering if there is a space for people who walk in and watch in the same room?
ReplyI am back. I just read ccigally.info and yes, everybody is welcome 🙂
“The conference is free and open to the public. No registration is required. It will be webcast live (more info to follow). Voice and ASL interpreters will be provided. For more information, contact Jill.Bradbury@gallaudet.edu.”
ReplyWhat an opporunity and venture going to Gallaudet for this after the Big Bang of vlogging, blogging and all that the past several months since the Gallaudet’s Organic Revolution…..Assuming we can give input or ideas or expressed desires…. Any chance about having a group or several speakers or interviewees/interviewers debating topics, issues like we see on Sunday morning political shows (no frowning to those who miss church, temple, mosque services or even watching football, sports-smile) not just single signer/debater/presenter…? Want to see various points of views expressed, debated and such. I am confident others including myself are thirsty passionately for this to come soon with the awakeniung of molecules of enlightenment. If this conference you are going does not look into or include on the agenda, let me know so we find another way to get this to materialize. You have been doing a great job getting all of us hooked and wiping out apathy nowdays! Way to go, Joey!
ReplyCool. Looking forward to the conference. Let’s hope the conference will bring back the vloggers/bloggers more ideas when they return back home from the conference.
Keep up with your work.
ReplyHi ya, Joey! You are invited to the conference? I am not surprised because you are a born leader, smile. 🙂 Looking forward to your next vlog! Have a safe trip there and back! 🙂
ReplyIt must be exciting!!!
Look forward to the webcast…
Cheers,
ReplyTim
I love your vlogs and I am sure you will make a major contribution to the conference! Best of luck with your presentation.
ReplyI look forward to the Conference this weekend, especially listening to you elaborate on your three points during our panel. See you soon.
ReplyJoey,
I just wanted to mention that your vlogs surely RECHARGE my mind! All I do daily is I take care of the kids, and stay home quietly. So, I welcome your vlogs at home, and I appreciate that very much!
I am sure that you win an award. If you do not, then I wonder why!
Good luck!! deafk
ReplyWant to share this, that I kept up with most of your messages and they sure are good, or at least BEST!
Keep up the good …logging work (a play with words).
The conference streaming was very nice, but I didn’t have the opportunity to view most all of it, only the last part of Shane’s presentation, then the questionaires. Geez, could we not be able to receive the announcement ahead of time?
I am working on developing a vlog/blog as well.
Am looking for a web host that I would enjoy.
Until then stay posted!!
ReplyJoey! Congratulations! You were terrific at today’s conference! Hope to see more vblogs of Ella Mae Lentz.
More power to you!
ReplyJean Boutcher
I’m with Jean Boutcher!
I was happy to see Ella there, too! 🙂
I look forward to your next vlog discussing about the conference!
I thought you all did a really terrific job and showed the world on how brilliant the deaf people are and how we can handle ourselves professionally and debating on issues and trying to come up with solutions!
I also loved some humor throwing into it to lighten things up a little bit!
I especially loved how they say what degree(s) each panelist has when introducing them!
Jill Bradbury did an incredible job in organizing this event! 🙂
ReplyIt would be very nice if you could keep update as much as you can. Because Everyday 3 to 5 times a day I look forward to see your vlogs and end up it is old message or info. ReplyBest job of all! Biggest white teeth smiling!
Thrilled!!!! I felt this is very important to be continually for life time since I have my own four Deaf kids and I want their life better than mine. I look forward for this to be more successfully as possible.
Let us all Deaf people walk together and work together forwarding….
I am trying to keep my comments shortly… Smile.
